Braddock Bay Raptor Research hosts veterans and their families in western New York!
Last weekend Braddock Bay Raptor Research hosted another awesome event for local veterans and their families in western New York. The group spent time participating in their annual migration hawkwatch and got to meet some of BBRR’s Raptor Ambassadors. This event is part of a larger collaborative effort between Braddock Bay Raptor Research, the New York Veteran’s Affairs Office in Rochester, and Soldiers2Scientists to provide citizen science programming and opportunities to the veterans of New York. Braddock Bay Raptor Research has so much to offer, and S2S hopes to attract more veterans to future events!

Thank you to the team at Braddock Bay Raptor Research and ROC Veterans. We are already back in the saddle planning our next event. If you’d like to help with the summer raptor count, BBRR is looking for a few volunteers to assist. Training will be provided and no experience required. Email us at soldiers2scientists@gmail.com
