S2S was interviewed on the Road 2 Discovery Podcast!

Hosted by Brian and Jonathon, Road2Discovery is a conversational podcast celebrating the human stories behind road-trip adventures. The hosts invite travelers, explorers, and everyday people to share the tales, lessons, and unexpected turns from journeys taken on the open road. Their mission? “To remind us all of the stories that make our lives and its journeys … well, worth it.”

Through episodes that range from solo odysseys to multi-leg family treks, guests reflect on how travel shapes perspective, resilience, and meaning. Whether it’s a cross-country drive, a motorcycle jaunt, or a pilgrimage of self-discovery, Road2Discovery invites listeners to lean into the untold stories behind every mile. S2S Executive Director Michael Cohn was excited to share his experiences taking vets on expeditions to Great Basin National Park during the past two summers. The trek takes participants through the Utah and Nevada on the way to Basin, and the team hiked dozens of miles up and down mountains to complete complex citizen science projects. Check out the S2S Newsfeed to learn more about our exciting expeditions!

S2S hopes to gain more traction with media communities as we continue to share our story of inviting the military community and their families to participate in citizen science all over the country! S2S would like to offer a special thanks to our S2S veteran and cohort member Kristin Smith for sharing our interview and sharing the message!
