S2S collaborates with Braddock Bay Raptor Center to organize events for raptor banding, trapping, and hawkwatch counting. This amazing center is dedicated to studying these fascinating birds of prey, rehabilitating them, and educating the public about the importance of protecting them from harm. Last Spring, S2S gathered some veterans together at the center in Rochester, New York for a beautiful day of learning more about birds of prey, If you are a veteran in New York interested in learning more about raptors or are looking for something new and different, consider learning more about Braddock Bay Raptor Center and all it has to offer. In the Spring of 2026, the raptors will continue their migration and begin breeding season, leading to some awesome chances to see a variety of raptors in action.
